Me 2 Films, founded and owned by Shruti Anindita Varma, is a creative production house dedicated to producing meaningful cinema and documentaries. Under her visionary leadership, Me 2 Films has created powerful narratives rooted in Indian culture, emotion, and social relevance. Shruti, a filmmaker and storyteller, brings authenticity and depth to every project, from feature films to documentaries and digital content. The company’s mission is to blend art with purpose—capturing human stories that inspire, challenge, and connect audiences across the world. Me 2 Films continues to grow as a platform for independent, thought-provoking storytelling.

SHRUTI ANINDITA VERMAA

Shruti has been a television software professional with an experience of almost two decades and a half. In a span of two decades she has experimented with all aspects of Production be it a Director, Creative Director, Supervising Producer, Script Writer, Executive & Creative Producer. She has Directed and Scripted Travel Shows, Talk Shows, Film Based Shows, Fashion Programs, Personality based Shows, Investigative Research based Shows, Profile based Shows, Music based Multi camera Shows, Inspirational Ministry Films, Documentaries, Women’s magazines, Fictionalized Real life Films, Films on NGOs as well as Corporate films. She has also written a few prestigious shows on Indian television and set up some big fiction properties.

AMITABH S VERMAA

Amitabh is a film maker trained in film editing from the film and Television Institute of India (FTII). In the last two decades apart from editing, Amitabh has written stories, screenplays, dialogues and songs for films and television. Having started with assisting Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Khamoshi, Amitabh realized that film making was not about learning one aspect of film making but understanding the medium in totality and he consciously decided to experiment with the other areas of film making as well. Having worked with the Programming team of Zee Television and then moving on to writing television serials Amitabh has to his credit some of the most popular television serial of the General Entertainment Channels like Haqeeqat for Sahara to Sanjivani, Koi Dil Mein hai, kavyanjali, Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka for Star, Yeh Meri Life Hai, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi, Hum Do Hain Na for Sony tv and Rishtey, Aati Rahengi baharen for Zee TV.

Little More about us

Again from television Amitabh jumped on to the big screen and wrote dialogues for films like Naina and My brother Nikhil. Soon a lot of films started falling on his platter. Amitabh wrote songs for films like Metro, Bas Ek Pal, Ankahee, Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena, My Brother Nikhil, Chhal, Humrahi, Funtoosh, 99.9 FM, Don Mutthuswami, Ugli Aur Pagli, Sorry Bhai, Victory, Zor Laga Ke Haiyya, Love – Khichri ,Mr. Singh Mrs Mehta ,Lamha. I Am, Fatso, PK, All is Well ,Bhaag Johny, Shab and Khoobsoorat.

After editing, writing lyrics, screenplays and dialogues direction was the next logical step. So Amitabh wore the director’s hat with his directorial debut with a fiction short film called ‘Hotel Park Street’ for Zoom TV (Produced by Rohit Roy). And then Amitabh wrote a Film called ANTARDWAND.

ANTARDWAND was his show reel as he wrote the screenplay, dialogues, lyrics and was also the associate director. ANTARDWAND was nominated for the best film and got the best actress award in the MAMI film festival. Antardwand won the prestigious National award for the best film on a social issue.

Amitabh still continues to be a lyricist besides creatively consulting on a film being produced by Madhavan and being presented by Raj Kumar Hirani. The next prestigious assignment was the 26 films that Me TWO FILMS produced and Amitabh directed for LETS DREAM FOUNDATION that was funded by UN Foundation for the deserving NGOs of the country.

The series called Police Files in association with Reliance Broadcast followed.
